Program Purpose

The purpose of the Early Neurosciences Development (END) Program is to address gaps in access, opportunity, and mentorship for students aspiring to careers in the neurosciences. Too often, early exposure to research, clinical insight, and professional networks is limited to those with pre-existing connections or institutional privilege. END seeks to change that—creating an inclusive, structured pathway where students from all backgrounds can gain the knowledge, experiences, and relationships needed to thrive across the broad spectrum of neuroscience-related careers. By fostering equity and building community, END ultimately aims to strengthen and diversify the future of the neuroscience workforce.
